Church and its usual gesture

Church as far as it is concern, is boring.

0_o? Opps how can I say that? Am I sinning? Different church have different culture and function to play in maybe mine is boring.

I usually sit infront these days. Amist all that, I still feel restless and run towards the back of the church sometimes. And there is like a comfort zone. You can dose off or whatver. A look on their faces shows that they aren’t very interested in what is happening and can’t wait to go home. Yet the question still remains. Why on earth you come then?

Perhaps it is Christian duty. Perhaps they have do so for 10 over years just not coming to church is odd. There are many perhaps. Perhaps they come church so they can be a less sinner.

You can’t blame wholly on the situation of the church members for not creating the ‘ambience’ of worshipful church. Many times the chairperson go AMEN? <— note the question mark and the response was

Yes members have part to play in church by creating the atmosphere by at least not showing signs of sleepiness or tiredness that got carried forward by saturday night fever but more so, leaders have a big part to play then just playing superficial and the usual jargons.

Pastors and Leaders must not be afraid of the outcome of the situation and just go forward. Yes we must heed the voices of people but then again, a thousand people will give you a thousand voice. But the driving force must be there. Once again, this is very subjective.

I suggest that pastors and leaders go and experience how other churches are like. If possible go overseas and experience other church culture and not just stuck here and say oh no we are probably like that. I’ve been to churches overseas and they are all different. The revival the passion the everything. And I tried to bring that back but it did not work that well. But if pastors and leaders would just get out and experience…

Our senior pastor just got back from Australia after 2 months + of disappearance. He went there to preach but also at the same time he get to experience the dynamics of different churches. And boy when he came back, he changed to be more effective. Although the changes isn’t big but the delivery of message has change and it is noticable to those who notice.

How would you lead people to go some place you are not sure about? Sigh. All these ramblings and yea not like I would get heard. Maybe we’re in Jeremiah’s time where he spoke to a wall.
